On September 27, 2026, NextGen Advising presented “Positioning Students for Career Success in the AI Economy” to 60–70 members of the National Charity League, Sand Hill chapter, in Menlo Park, California.
Today’s high schoolers face unprecedented pressure to select a major during the college application process, even as the entry-level job market rapidly evolves with the rise of AI. NextGen Advising helped families understand how AI is reshaping major selection and career pathways, debunked the myth that a major equals a career, and highlighted why proactive career planning should start before stepping onto campus.
Attendees learned how students can build a strategic 4-year college roadmap to maximize their college experience for long-term professional success.
