Our Story

We started NextGen Advising to help students and early career professionals learn to navigate the highly-competitive and rapidly changing job market. AI and automation has disrupted the job market and reduced the number of entry-level positions. Online platforms like LinkedIn have made the job search more competitive, with tens of thousands of students applying to a single role. In addition, traditional college curricula do not adequately prepare students and young professionals during the job search process or for on the job success.

With 50 years of combined experience in coaching, hiring, management and executive leadership, NextGen Advising’s co-founders personally guide clients through a holistic process to help them develop the skills they need to help them achieve their career aspirations.

As the nation’s premier early career coaching firm, we help students find and obtain internships and their first professional job, as well as help young professionals advance in their careers and assist them with possible career changes. Through our white glove services, we offer the strategic, organizational, tactical and as well as emotional support needed to help our clients feel confident in their job search and career evolution.
